Sandy Holman, Director of The Culture C.O-.O.P and MR. Lewis , Leader of Rebuilding The Culture and extraordinary hip hop artisan invite you to a unique event weaving storytelling and historical hip hop music together with the intent to inspire, educate and celebrate rich African history. Utilizing the ancient old, oral tradition of the spoken word, interwoven with conscious, brilliant and uplifting hip hop music, this intimate gathering will encourage , educate, enlighten and elevate your mind, body and spirit. Partner with us as a sage Elder takes you on a “Sankofa,” journey where we go back and fetch some of our rich history and remember who we were, so we can embrace who we are and what we want to be. MR Lewis cements the experience by sharing original powerful hip hop filled with truth, knowledge, and the call to live your best life. This event is for young and the old and is a loving boost to the heart and soul.
M’ster Lewis
M’ster Lewis is a 31-year-old rapper hailing from Sacramento, California. Drawing inspiration from positive lights in Hip-Hop such as Andre 3000, Dizzy Wright, Erykah Badu, Larry June, and Mick Jenkins, M'ster Lewis creates conscious Hip-Hop to move listeners in a way that promotes optimism and productivity. M'ster Lewis's hopes to release music that motivates people to accomplish their goals and be self-sufficient.
Sandy Holman
Sandy Holman is the Director of The Culture C.O-.O.P and United In Unity whose goal is to promote systemic change, equity, inclusion, cultural competency, literacy, and quality education for all. Her organization uses various tools to impact communities such as the Paradigm to transform individuals, communities, systems, and beyond. The goal is to develop mindshare so that visioning/strategic planning, interventions, and policies, are more impactful. We aspire to create a foundational understanding so we all build towards a better equitable future. Sandy believes that everyone can use their gifts to be changemakers and make a difference.
